New Orleans has a unique way of celebrating those who have died. This week we had multiple Second Line Parades – first memorializing the beloved chef Leah Chase and later in the week honoring the memory of musical icon Mac “Dr. John” Rebennack. The gatherings bring all lives together to celebrate. I was lucky to be a part of it.
